Pregnancy may not be an Olympic sport, but it certainly feels like one. After a difficult pandemic birth, I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and watching my milk supply plummet—despite drinking water nonstop.
I carried a jug everywhere, yet I still felt depleted.
When my husband, Vincent, suggested dehydration, I brushed it off.
How could I be dehydrated when I was drinking so much water?
But Vincent understood the signs. Years earlier, after a series of serious spinal injuries, he worked with a naturopath who was also an MD. Through bloodwork and urinalysis, this doctor discovered Vincent was chronically dehydrated due to mineral deficiency—even while drinking more than a gallon of water a day. That insight transformed how he understood hydration.
So in 2020, we returned to that guidance and began adding high-quality liquid minerals to my filtered water.
The change was immediate.
At first, the minerals tasted salty—my body needed them. Within days, the taste faded, my energy returned, and my milk supply rose. Water alone had never been enough. My cells needed minerals to properly hydrate.
